Electronic Doodling in Munich

image

I drew live on a Wacom Cintiq at the launch of the Munich re:Store on Friday 11 September 2009. People came by for free prints and other such exciting goodies such as beer and cake. I ended up doing a lot of portraits of people, which I’d never really done before. I was worried everyone would get upset with my strange drawings of them but actually people seemed very pleased with the results, Germans are very polite.

Big thanks to JP and everyone from re:Store for inviting me over and for making all the food vegetarian, to Wacom for the use of the excellent Cintiq and to Hewlett Packard for all the printing. The event was also in collaboration with burger.

I was on my way but my boat got hyjacked by Somali pirates, They asked for a Burgerman drawing as ransom and since I had none on me I said I was you and got released after I doodled all over the boat. By the time I got to Nottingham, it was very late and the door was locked.  The pirates came with me and now they are taking me to the Fish bar for a drink.
