Jim and Jon in Cologne
My friend Jim Avignon had an exhibition recently in Cologne. He invited me over to draw on the front window and perform a gig as our band Anxieteam. Here’s some of the photos from the event that took place 8 July 2010.
After the live drawing we performed a set as our band to the audience both inside and outside of the gallery.
We had some lovely new masks to wear and new songs to play.
Afterwards Jim signed a lot of autographs for his German fans. Unlike a lot of artists Jim actually signs photos of himself!
Even the Queen, from Britain, came over to get some free doodles from Jim, the old cheapskate.

The concept is simple. So with improvised means you can make a work of art. You just have to have a little imagination and ingenuity. Then, you have some unique things.
