Jon Burgerman - pens are my friends

Having met at college in 1998, we went our separate ways to get qualifications and experience. Although we've been going out together since and had always planned to start our own company sometime in the future it all just fell into place in 2007. One of the first big projects we landed was a little book for some Burger Dude thanks to Richard Seabrooke.

After lots of tinkering and take away dinners that little book had grown into a volume of biblical proportions. Being isolated from the mainland we only met Jon twice, but iChat and pdfs meant we could bounce ideas of each other and keep in touch. It was a real voyage of discovery, every time we thought the finish line was in sight Jon pulled new and even crazier stuff from his doodle bag.

In the end the hardest part of the project was chopping things out. (At one point there was 450 pages!) The relief of getting it finished was tempered by the poo in our pants at the prospect of sending a years worth of work (65gb!) on a hard-drive half way around the world. But when the finished article finally landed on our desks we couldn't believe just how dope it was. Colin+Noelle
