My name is Pendleton Ward. Initially I had animated Jon's characters to post them next to my submission for his record mats contest... to sweeten my chances.. but I still didn't win. However, Jon asked me if I could slap the animation I had done with some new doodle animation to make a music video for his book. And so I did with the help of my friends Nick Jeong for effects animation and Casey Basichis for the music.
